PEBL: The Psychology Experiment Building Language

Experiments and Stimuli

Demonstration experiments are available in the source distribution in the directories demo/ and experiments/. The windows installer installs a select few of these into "My Documents\pebl-exp". Several experiments are available in the wiki as well. Finally, we have packaged separately a set of free public domain images that are useful as stimuli in a variety of psychological tasks (shapes, cards, etc.).

In conjunction with PEBL 0.07, we will begin to separately distribute several secondary archives. These include:

• PEBL Psychological Test Battery, which incudes the TOAV (our free version of the TOVA ®), Berg's Card Sorting Task (a free version of the Wisconsin Card Sorting Task®), a free version of the Iowa Gambling Task, and a number of other useful psychological tests.
• PEBL Image Archive. A set of freely usable redistributable images useful for psychological experimentation (currently, shapes, Wisconsin Card-Sort Cards, etc.). download.
• PEBL Sound Archive. A set of freely usable and redistributable sound files (spoken digits, buzzes, beeps, etc.) Download
