Data are saved to several .csv and .txt files located in the data and data\subnum\ folders:

To start, the practice trials are labeled as 'practice' in the third column, and these should be removed from analysis. In the version of this task released with Pebl 0.14 and earlier, it does not actually record whether the trial was correct. You can do this coding in excel by making a column that determines whether the 'present' column matches the 'responded' column.

Next, you are probably interested in separating DVs by block (frequent versus rare target is block 1 versus 3). For RT, you need to ignore the rows in which responded=0 (these response times are just the trial timeout time), and of course you may compute different accuracy and response times for present and absent conditions. Contingency tables like this can be created using 'pivot tables' in almost any spreadsheet, as well as the R functions tapply and aggregate.
